All that in the heart of Northern Sweden’s fascinating nature, which is marked not only by its forests and wildlife, but also by the “Northern Lights” phenomenon.

Combined with the possibility of further fun activities, such as riding snowmobiles, a moose safari, dog sleds and getting close up to reindeers, with superior living all along and the choice of spending a night at Iglootel, you will be pampered from arrival to departure.

Where does it take place?

All the activities take place in Arjeplog, a unique setting in the North of Sweden that every winter season brings together the international automotive industry.

You will gain exclusive access to Colmis, a world leading proving ground that is usually reserved to industry professionals, and train right next to where vehicle manufacturers and suppliers test their latest models and prototypes.

Where do I stay?

Hotel Silverhatten in Arjeplog provides superior living accommodation and has a wide range of facilities – such as SPA, relax and gym areas – you will be able to enjoy throughout your stay.

When does it take place?

You have the option of choosing the duration of your trip, although our recommended package is of 4 days with 3 nights.

The season goes from the start of January until the start of April, whilst February and March are the ideal months to participate, as the daylight and ice quality relation is at its optimum condition.

It’s called The Winter Experience for a reason, with temperatures oscillating between -20 and -10 degrees Celsius. Don’t worry, we will keep you warm! We will supply you with warm thermo parkas, pants and boots.

The Winter Driving Academy

The Winter Driving Academy focuses on training how to control the vehicle in critical situations and includes examples on how vehicle development engineers test the cars.

Don’t worry about your level of experience, we will adapt the training to you!

You will increase your skills step by step, acquiring different techniques whilst driving on ice and snow on specially designed tracks.

The final stage, which takes place on the handling track, is dedicated to test what you have learned throughout the day.

All participants who complete the training successfully receive a Winter Driving Certificate.

The Performance Ride

During The Winter Experience you will not only dramatically improve your driving skills with various learning sessions, but also enjoy the exceptional opportunity of getting to see – closer than in any show – how the DynaTech Performance Team carry out some of their breathtaking control and performance maneuvers: 2-wheel driving, 360 degree spinning, etc.

How could this get even better? Simple: you will not only see the Performance Team drive but you will also ride in the car whilst they are performing!
